I have more than 23 years of experience in journalism, 17 of them as a copy editor and page designer. I’m excellent at catching typos!

After graduating from the University of Evansville in 1994 with a B.S. in journalism, I worked for 5 years at the Logansport (Ind.) Pharos-Tribune and 15 years at the (Flagstaff) Arizona Daily Sun. Then I was at the (Prescott, Ariz.) Daily Courier for 2 1/2 years before I left journalism for Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters.

As you might imagine, coronavirus is making it tough for YBBBS to continue its mission, defending the potential of kids in Yavapai County, and I’m facing a drastic reduction in work hours. Editing gigs will help me fill the gap.

I’m also a published romance author, both independently and with the now-defunct Turquoise Morning Press. My All’s Fair in Love & Baseball series follows the men of the fictional Arizona Condors semiprofessional baseball team — and the women who love them.
